GGCF provides New York State and Hague accredited homestudies for most of the New York State area. We will send you a home study packet preview with contract and application upon request (contact us)
INDEPENDENT INTERNATIONAL ADOPTION SERVICES
GGCF provides assistance for "parent initiated adoptions" (Independent Adoptions) in foreign countries including Hague Nations.
DOMESTIC ADOPTION and INTERSTATE COMPACT ASSISTANCE
GGCF provides legal advice and representation, re-adoption, finalization and interstate adoption services. We also assist birthparents considering relinquishment and placement and relative adoptions.
TROUBLESHOOTING, CONSULTING and MEDIATION SERVICES
Call or write us for assistance in getting down to the root of problematic issues with your adoption.
EDUCATION and COUNSELING
ALL clients receive a comprehensive set of educational materials with follow up counseling as part of our
services. Our Director and Social Workers can assist you in understanding and coping with the adoption process and adopted children's issues.
OTHER SERVICES
We assist families residing abroad wishing to adopt, birth history searches and adoption crisis intervention

ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND FEES
Travel fees may be charged for up to $100 additional for each SW visit depending on your location. Ask for details.
Revisions to HS for Placement Agency or USCIS corrections at time of first issuance and submission - no charge
Updated HS - with SW visit ***SW visit is mandatory for USCIS update or after 12 months
$400 payable directly to Social Worker ($500 if updating to Hague country from non-Hague country)
$400 payable to GGCF
Update/amendment to HS or newly dated Post Placement Commitment Forms – no SW visit required
(for child’s disclosed medicalcondition, re-issuance of HS for embassychange in number of children, change infinances, updates to clearances, etc)
$ 150 payable directly to GGCF
Post placement fees-due at the time they are done unless otherwise required by the sendingcountry/agency/state are payable for each visit and report as follows:
$250.00 payable directly to Social Worker
$50.00 payable to GGCF
Independent Adoption Services- vary and are available upon request
Other - Parents will be required to take an online course either Eyes Wide Open at $29.95 or Adopting the Older Child at $34.95
